Photography for me is an extension of my love of the natural world.  Being close to nature and feeling part of it, (albeit a very small ) is so important to me.  Since starting taking photographs aged 45 yrs (I’m now 59) my senses have become heightened, my awareness has grown and I have felt more fulfilled.

I prefer the morning and evening light, the atmospheric changes that occur early in the morning fascinate and excite me, I find the evening light relaxing as it brings closure to another day.
I see photographs as stories, a record of the day, the hour, that special moment in time.
